An old lady died after the wall of the house collapsed

An old lady died after the wall of her house collapsed in Kulkarni Galli of Betageri.

Susavva Kalmath, 60, a resident of Kulkarni Galli, Betageri, Gadag, died. Due to the heavy rain last night, the dilapidated wall collapsed in the morning and as a result, the wall fell on Susavva Kalmath and Basamma Nadakattina who were sleeping in the hall.

Adavaiah Kalmath, who was sleeping in another part of the house, noticed that as soon as the wall collapsed, the family members were trapped under the debris of the wall, and with the help of people, they rescued two people who were trapped under the mud.

Two people were seriously injured in this accident. The wall collapsed due to the night rain. Adavaiah Kalmath and Basamma Nadakatti were seriously injured and are being admitted to the hospital for treatment.
